Terms and Conditions

Holiday Miles is a trading name of Barrhead Travel Service Ltd, registered office 
190-194 Main Street, Barrhead, Glasgow. G1 4PA

Barrhead Travel Financial Services is a trading style of City Gate Money Managers who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority whose terms and conditions apply.

Note: Holiday Miles will be forfeited by a member if there is no activity on an account for 12 months. This means either buying or using Miles. Holiday Miles can only be used against Barrhead Travel products or services(including Financial Services) and cannot be exchanged for cash.

The Shop and Online Partners.

  1. We do not sell any of the products or services in the Shop or Online Partners ourselves.When you you shop from a particular retailer you pay them directly and they are responsible for the product/service you buy, sales service, warranties etc.

  2. We will not be responsible for any difficulties you have with 
    the retailer or the product.We provide no warranty or guarantee with regards to the  purchases you make from our participating retailers.

  3. These terms and condititions outline the terms  of using our service.
    It clarifies our obligations to you and your obligations as our member. 
    By joining and using our website you agree to the following 
    terms and conditions.

  4. When you join our website and use our links to make an online purchase, we get a commission from the merchant for referring the sale. This is paid as Holiday Miles to you.

  5. The amount of Holiday Miles you earn is between about 1% and  about 10%. This can vary between proucts and services and can be a % or a fixed amount.

  6. If for any reason (like you return the product, purchased on the phone etc) the merchants refuse to pay, we cannot pay you the  Holiday Miles . Your purchases are tracked electronically by merchants or via third party networks, who report back to us.

  7. While we make little delay from our end and take utmost care in reporting, we will not be responsible if there are errors in their tracking or reporting.

  8. We reserve the right to adjust your Holiday Miles account in certain circumstances, including inaccuracies in reporting, non-payment by merchants or goods returned.

  9. Whilst we make all reasonably efforts to advertise the correct Holiday Miles amounts, if there are any errors in advertising, we can only pay you up to a maximum of 50% of what we get paid by the merchant on these occasions.

  10. Your account. We update your account as soon as we receive notifuication of a sale. If a purchase is then cancelled we will deduct the Holiday Miles earned..

  11. You agree NOT to contact any of our partner retailers in connection with any aspect of the cashback program. Merchants do not deal with cashback related queries directly from our members. If you do contact merchants directly with queries relating to our cashback program related.

  12. We reserve the right to modify our terms, conditions and policies and this agreement at our sole discretion. 

  13. These terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Scotland whose courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising in connection with them.

    These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights

    Financial products: For  financial products like mortgages, credit cards, loans etc, we do not make any recommendations on suitability. We only advertise the products based on the information provided. Please do not decide to apply for a particular product just because you can earn Holiday Miles. . We recommend that you do your own research and seek specialist financial advice before you decide on a product.
